Who can give to Beacon’s Annual Giving Campaign?

We welcome donations from Beacon’s members, friends, and fans. Contributions of any size make an impact on living out our mission and values.

How do I contribute to the Annual Giving Campaign?

Please complete the online commitment form or return a completed pledge card to Beacon’s Stewardship Team. Printed pledge cards are available after services, where members of the Stewardship Team will also be available to receive cards and answer questions.

When are financial commitments (i.e., pledges) due?

Commitments are requested by June 1. The congregation will vote at our Annual Meeting on June 11 on the budget for our next fiscal year (which starts July 1, 2023). We ask that you make your financial commitment as soon as possible so it can be included as revenue in the budget that will be presented.

Do I have to pay now?

You do not have to pay on your commitment now. When you make your pledge at online, you can indicate how often you expect to make a financial contribution during the next year and the amount you plan to give.

Why do you want me to make a financial commitment?

By making a financial commitment now, you enable us to plan our revenue for the year and include that in the budget that will presented to the congregation for a vote at our Annual Meeting on June 11.

If I gave in the past, do I need to do anything for the 2023-2024 Annual Giving Campaign?

Yes! Pledges do not automatically renew from one year to the next. Please affirm your continued support of Beacon by making a pledge for the 2023-2024 Annual Giving Campaign. If you are able, please consider increasing your annual contribution by 4% to help us adjust for inflation and to provide fair compensation to our staff.

What does the Annual Giving Campaign fund?

Contributions to our Annual Giving Campaign fund Beacon’s mission, ministries, programs, and operations.

How much has been raised so far?

We’ll share the final results of our collective power at our Annual Meeting on June 11.
