AFTERNOON MUSIC
Violinist Eric Wyrick has been concertmaster of the NJ Symphony since 1999, performing the great solo violin repertoire, from unusual and under-performed concertos by Schumann and Strauss to leading and soloing in the complete Bach Brandenburg Concertos and Vivaldi's Four Seasons. He has also collaborated with such contemporary New Jersey composers as Darryl Kubian and Steve Mackey.
Alisa Wyrick is active as a violinist and violist in the NYC area, playing regularly with the New York Philharmonic and the NYC Ballet Orchestra. She is a member of both the NYC Opera Orchestra and the Albany Symphony. She lives in South Orange in a musical household with her husband, Eric Wyrick, and their two daughters, who play cello, violin and viola.
Kirsten Jermé enjoys an eclectic freelance life performing with ensembles such as the Harlem Chamber Players and as a sub on Broadway shows, at Radio City and with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Orchestra. Recent collaborations include the String Orchestra of NYC and the Bar Harbor Music Festival.
The audience is invited to meet the performers at a reception following the concert.
