Shouvik Mukherjee is an Indian Sitar maestro who lives in Kolkata,India He had awarded as an All India Radio artist in 2012. He also stood in Rajya Sangeet Academy. He has received the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2012, which stands out as a significant milestone. His music combines the richness of Indian Classical music and a contemporary touches of his own urban sensitivity. Over the last one decades, he has grown not just as a performer but also as a teacher, sharing his knowledge and passion with others. Join us at Beacon UU to witness and celebrate the the Spirit of Diwali thru music as we overcome dark times with compassion.
Program for children and youth: All children and youth will remain in the sanctuary for a multigeneration service at 9:30 and 11 AM. Grades 6 and up meet at 6 PM.
