Dear Beloved Beacon friends, members and newcomers,
Autumn was always a favorite season for me (Rev. Robin) as it meant the return of school. For much of my own life school was an excitement, an outlet and even an escape. And well, I love school supplies. Am I right?
It was also a time of reconnecting and cultivating new relationships. I see this excitement in my children now and in many of your own stories of lingering outside a little longer in fall or sharing a chat outdoors.
Some of you have heard about our new partnership with not one, but two Unitarian congregations in Jowai, India and Barót, Transylvania. In June, we voted to formalize this partnership as did members in Jowai and Barót. Now, we are living into this partnership with regular calls and connections across three time zones. And we are ready to celebrate!
We invite you to join us via Zoom this Saturday at 9am-11AM with partners in Jowai and Barót, as we each introduce our congregations to each other, share ritual and prayers. It will be a historic gathering you won’t want to miss. Are you interested in joining us? RSVP to Jean Crichton at jeancrichton@gmail.com
Wishing you the full blessings of autumn whether they be new friendships, deepening learning, the radiant trees or even a cup of apple cider!
With abiding grace and love,
Tuli and Reverends Robin and Emilie
