Beloved,
I’m (Rev. Robin) starting to get the pandemic awkwards again. Too many weeks of virtual Beacon, virtual school, and no social gatherings. I find that I leap with joy when mail is delivered, or garbage picked up, or the incidental member stops by to drop something off at Beacon. I am smiling super big behind my mask and moving – some might say leaping, toward people. So, if I see you soon, don’t mind me trying to hold back my excitement.
We know that virtual-only services can be hard for many of you, and that in-person connections can be really core to your sense of being in the world. While we can’t yet come back to in-person services (we will on Feb 13th), we are planning on offering in-person candle lighting rituals from 11 am-12 pm, each Sunday, on January 30th and February 6th. Come anytime during the hour to light a candle, see one of our Beacon chaplains and ministry leaders. Come connect and re-center.
And a reminder that small groups are a vital part of our community. In small groups, we practice deep listening and embodied covenant. Sign-ups for groups are happening now. Sign up here by January 31st to get in your group for 2022.
Are you trying to get more rooted in relationship? Brand new at Beacon? Our connecting session coming up this weekend is a great opportunity to get more connected. Sign-up here.
With yours awkwardly until we connect again!
