You are invited to join Beacon’s writing group for creative writing on our monthly themes. Come and share your ideas and connect with others. No experience necessary! No homework! No commitment to attend every month!
We follow the following format each month.
Welcome and introductions
Writing prompts on the monthly theme
15-minute writing sprint
Break-out groups to read and discuss the writing (note: we discuss the ideas, but don’t critique the writing)
Wrap-up
Hosted by Beacon members Karen Jackson, Anna Davies, and Carol Conger Miller.
We meet via Zoom on the third Wednesday of every month, alternating between 12 PM and 7 PM to accommodate different schedules.
